Family Pictures at the Train Station

Thanks to one of my good friends at work who gave me this idea of taking pictures at the train station. The kids had a great time even though it was freeeezing outside.

For Thanksgiving me and the boys packed up and flew down to Arizona to see my family. I didn't take my camera, so I am waiting on Ali and Mom to send me copies of theirs to I can post them. We had the most wonderful time. We didn't do much, but the time we had with Grammy and Grandpa, Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins was priceless. It made me long to be closer to them to experience the joy and happiness that family brings. The children were so precious, their sweet innocence and warm hearts were so touching. My parents home was full of love and laughter...not to mention the chaos that comes with a lot of family, but it was so worth it. Here are a few pics I took with my phone camera of Ethan with some of the cars at the Wigwam Motel (The Cozy Cone from Cars) He was so excited to see this!!!

Taylor loves the laundry room, whenever we can't find him we always check the laundry room first. He's so funny he loves to pull the clothes out of the washer, so whenever I am putting clothes in, he is pulling them back out one at a time, then he gets mad at me for putting them back in.

We had to borrow the life jackets from our neighbors....
poor Taylor, he's going to hate me for making him wear the pink one.
I don't want to go home yet!

OK, I can come back with you next time...Yeah!

Now that it is Duck Hunting Season, we rarely get to see Eddie at home. This weekend he decided to spend one day with the family......so, we went for a ride in his duck boat where he goes hunting.

Fire Prevention Week/Field Trip

These are some pictures from Fire Prevention Week and Ethan's first field trip with his class (Another Fire Station!!! - it's not the one where Eddie works so we had not been to this one before).

Taylor's Birthday

I decided the morning of Taylor's birthday party to make him a soccer cake. All day long he was wanting to see and touch it. I was hoping that by showing it to him, it would make him anxious to dig into it when the time came.

We had some family and friends over for dinner to celebrate and after dinner, it was time for cake.

Taylor uses his pointer finger to touch everything....and that is exactly what he did with the cake. He poked at it and looked at us like "what am I suppose to to do with this".

He started catching on when he tasted the frosting...but still wouldn't tear into it.

So....we tried moving him to the floor where he would have more room.

He played with it a little more and even put his foot in it a few times, it wasn't until his cousin joined in that the cake finally got devoured!!!

After a quick bath, it was time for presents...and thanks to big brother, it took less than 5 minutes to open them all!!!

First Day of Pre-School

Ethan was so excited for his first day of pre-school, he was so excited to be going to school. The only thing he was bummed about was that he couldn't ride the bus. He came home from school even more excited. He sang the songs and played the games he learned and then tried teaching them to us so we could sing and play with him...such a cute boy!

My Three Boys

These were taken after we took a drive through the mountains. The boys were getting out of the front seat and looked so cute....I just had to take some pictures.

In preparation for Eddie's upcoming big Elk Hunt, he took me up to a shooting range in the mountains. I actually did pretty good at hitting the targets!

He's 4!! Ethan turned 4 on August 10th and he's wanted it to be his birthday everyday since!!! It was a fun birthday for him, he had a blast opening all of his presents, playing with his cousins and friends, and eating his Sponge Bob cake (for the next three days).

This was the Second Annual neighborhood trip to the redneck slip-n-slide trip. About 30 mins north from our house in Logan, a farmer rents out this huge man made slip-n-slide. The families in our neighborhood rent it for the day and bring food for a BBQ. We had a blast.

Our Fourth of July was pretty laid back this year. Eddie was on Utah's version of The View to do a cooking segment, so me and the boys stayed home to watch our big TV star. That night we set off some fireworks in front of the house and watched firework shows from three different cities from our back yard on the hammock.
